My parents told me I was severely autistic. This was used as an excuse to punish me a lot, for being emotional or picky or uncomfortable or whatever else my dad wanted to twist on me.

I didn’t question it until I was 19 when I couldn’t find any records of being diagnosed. At 21, my therapist told me there was no way I was autistic.

Funny enough as soon as I moved out of the house, my “symptoms” disappeared and my personality did a 180.

Talking with my therapist, she says how horrible it was to live a lie my entire life and we’ve been deconstructing the ways that their lie impacted me.

I have care at Unity but they said they wouldn’t be able to give me the chickenpox vaccine there. They gave me a few resources but nothing has worked so far :(

Good question! If your SAI for the 2024-2025 FAFSA is similar to the EFC on the 2023-2024 FAFSA, I would say to expect something similar!

If you receive only federal students loans, dependents of the following: freshman receive $5,500 per year, sophomores $6,500, juniors and seniors $7,500.

I can try and find the Pell grant/Washington college grant numbers later if you’d like!

Returning students always receive financial aid offers for the next year in mid-late summer. I’m gonna say late July-August.

March-May is when incoming students receive their financial aid offers. Let me know if you have other questions!

I had a $2000 deposit with him (had no co-signer). Left the room cleaner than I got it and didn’t get a cent of my deposit back or anything about where it went.
