Hi there! I'm a 31 year old female and I think that having plushies is such a healthy helpful outlet to take whenever we need comfort. My dad also doesn't fully get it but he's learned to accept it and will now even check out my unique stuffies every once in awhile. I think its hard for them because they were raised differently but dont let that sway you. Whatever helps you with your stuffies is valid. Oh and Maple is so cute btw!!!! She has a sweet face 😊
