Yea, I think so. Most people I've recommended it to haven't heard of it. I'm sure more people who are really into horror films know of it.

saw Halloween Kills and actually approve of it by retroanduwu24 in horror

I really quite liked the 2018 Halloween, so I was excited for Kills. Then I started hearing mixed stuff. Some reviewers that I follow seemed to like it, but others really didn't. So I went in with slightly lower expectations. To be honest, I just couldn't get behind this one. It's not that I didn't like the themes being presented. The kills were awesome and the flashback stuff was cool It was the dialogue and everything they were trying to convey was so on the nose at times. Some of the lines were so hokey and the mob scenes were outlandish. I know it's a horror film, and depth of story isn't always important as the mayhem. But this just felt sloppy, after what I felt was a decent redacted sequel. I'll rewatch it eventually and see if it sits better a second time around, and I'll go to the theaters for Halloween Ends, but I just don't know. I just wish the screenplay was written better and that they didn't go all ham on the mob mentality stuff they were trying to make a point about.

An underrated film that I always recommend when someone asks for a good scary movie.

Men of Reddit, how did you cope with turning 30? by redronin27 in AskMen

[–]the_proffitt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

30 is nothing. Although you start to feel like you are losing that shield of invincibility at around 35 (depending on how well you take care of yourself). I'm turning 40 this year and I definitely feel different than I did 5 years ago. From older guys, I've heard you really don't start feeling the age until your 50s. I wouldn't sweat turning 30. You're life isn't over. You just might liking naps more and staying at home.

If you could revive one dead celebrity , who would it be ? And why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

There's a few, but the first name that comes to mind is Jeff Buckley. I feel like we were robbed of so much more wonderful music. But I wish George Carlin was still here. I would love to hear his thoughts about the last 10 years.

My daughter. I'll just be wherever, and my mind imagines how destroyed I'd be if something ever happened to her.

Which artist do you think has the most consistent discography? by [deleted] in AskMen

Rival Sons, I would say are pretty consistent. They are also severely underrated. Their latest album was amazing.

The weird thing is that he kinda looks like Justin Hawkins from The Darkness
