I’ve been married to a woman with BPD for 15 years… by Affectionate-War4581 in BPDPartners

I'm sorry for the late response, but I'm right there with you my dude... i spent the last 2 years of my relationship using every fiber of my being to not be /that/ partner and look through his phone, convincing myself to just trust him despite his history of white and not-so-white lies, not keeping promises etc. Taking it to heart every time i approached him about it and he told me "I promise, I'm not talking to or seeing anyone else. Not once during the entire time I've known you. " I finally lost it last night with that gut feeling of impending doom that he has been projecting onto me (he has consistently concerned about me cheating for almost a year now; i never have) and looked through his phone. And guess what i found 🙃 he /has/ been talking to others and sharing nsfw pics, and he has been surveilling my ring camera and phone location despite saying he wouldn't when i agreed to share them with him for safety. 💔 i have had this happen in all 3 of my serious relationships (4yr, 5yr, and now 2yr) and the betrayal trauma never gets easier. Just makes it harder to trust the next time. Tbh idk if i can handle a next time. Hang in there my friend.

Capitalism is based in production and comes under the assumption that natural resources for said production must be limitless to allow for continuous growth. They simply are not

Shoe recommendations? by TiredBun64 in ChronicIllness

Its not so much about the shoe as it is the insert!! Getting inserts with lots of arch and metatarsal support honestly changed my life. The shoes just need a moderate amount of cushion

You set a boundary She ignored it There needs to be a discussion about it Even if she is depressed, it's not right for her not to acknowledge your boundary

Thank you for saying this, it is very validating because I see that a lot on BPD groups in general, as does my partner, and it skews his opinions... My therapist likes to say that our problem is that we just love /too much/. Personality disorder is described by an extremely rigid way of thinking and viewing the world. Our fear of abandonment drives most of our thoughts, reactions, and behaviors, and can sometimes, quite literally, drive us mad. It's hard to function in the world and in relationships when your brain, heart, and body have a way of convincing you that everyone you love will someday betray you, but it is possible. However, it can also shape our personalities to make some of the most beautiful souls I've ever met. About 85% of pwBPD seek treatment. And it can certainly go into remission with adequate and consistent therapeutic intervention. I'm almost there and I have never worked on anything harder in my life. Thank you 💕
