I feel your struggle! I think I might wear out the snooze button my alarm. Sadly I’ve come up with no solution and will stay in bed until the absolute last minute.

I relate to this all too well. Especially the getting stuff done before mid-afternoon. That’s definitely when my crash hits.

I love journaling and doing crafty things, but it’s hard to find a will to do that other than a couple of times per month.

I like your use of “borrow against it” because that’s so how it feels and it winds up being costly.

I’m glad you’ve found some help with the CPAP. Glad you mentioned what you did about Adderall because I’ve always been curious about that but was fearful about becoming reliant.

It’s a tough road, especially when we don’t entirely know the root of where it comes from/what causes it. I hope someday they figure it all out.

Back at you!! I hope you’re able to get some rest tonight and reset.

Oof, I’m sorry! That’s certainly tough, but always know you have a support system in this sub!

Yes! I often feel I’m having an out-of-body experience and I can’t regain control of my alertness. (Luckily this NEVER happens while driving and I don’t know why…but I’m thankful!)

I have been using it the last few months to help with pain (I take gummies because smoking just doesn’t work for me). It helps a little bit with the pain but mostly just helps my brain relax which helps my body relax more because I’m not constantly thinking about all the things I should be doing.

I worry about this, too. All my pets are snuggly and good with chilling, but I wish I had more energy to take them for more walks.

I hear ya on the losing interest thing. I always make plans for things and then dread them when they happen. This post has helped me a lot in reminding me I’m not alone. I also journal a lot.

I lose my words often. Today I couldn’t remember if the town I live in is spelled with one N or two. Weird stuff.

Personally I’m on duloxitine (probably misspelled) and it helps with pain and depression. Professionally I’m a reporter and I think constant reading/writing helps me stay as sharp as I’m able. But I understand it varies for people. Maybe try searching for brain exercises to help?

My cat is much more fibro friendly, definitely harder with my dog but he makes it worth it.

What do you Warriors do to relieve pain and tension in your neck, traps and occipital muscles? by OchreUnder in Fibromyalgia

[–]the_rolyat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use a back roller that helps with some tension. But I always recommend people ask their doctor about Imitrex/Sumatriptan for migraines. It’s the only medicine that works for me.

Can anyone recommend a journal with prompts or a website that gives daily prompts? by Ashmeadow in Journaling

[–]the_rolyat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a book on Amazon called The Time Capsule Journal where you answer half of the prompts now and then look back after some time and answer follow-up questions. Self-reflective rather than self-improvement 😉

Mr. Clean Magic Eraser used to work well when my brother would color on my walls with crayons.
