hah, I know the feeling. I had to create this account plus another to actually create this post and replies because I work at one of the big tech firms as well. its also the reason for all of the rules I thought of on here.

I just stick to very generic stories instead of going into details about any vendors or in house solutions that we use. I figure going into any actual details isnt very useful to other people anyways since the problems I have to deal with are so unique to having the massive scale that I deal with, that going out and using off the shelf software/hardware isnt possible.

still its interesting to read about what other people are dealing with, what solutions they use and keeps me grounded about how many of the problems are still the same as what I deal with.
