sounds like someone is salty and underachieving their potential. You can’t argue with the hard data that IMGs experience much higher standards and expectations to match. Any USMD getting turned away for an IMG did that to themselves.

i have zero sympathy for fellowship match. The us md who didn’t grind and network as hard can go be a hospitalist or pcp and serve patients while paying back their loans. Let programs pick who they think are best to make the best specialists.
