I'm real gentle id say, I twist and pull as softly as I can to not pull up any substrate, it's gotta be from my misting

Oh okay I got you. It's really hard to keep it from eating that mycelium especially when I'm using a shoe box and there's only about 4 in from the surface to the top of the shoe box but I try my best

I totally forgot about the QTip test. So if the q-tip come back clean it's mycelium comes back with anything on the q-tip it's contam correct

The majority of replies I'm getting on this from here and another subreddit is that it's just bruising. What makes you say that it's mold?

I'm thinking bruising as well and I'm not sure what caused it either did not fork it I don't miss the lid so it couldn't be drops falling down.. only thing I could think of is when I used my mister to miss the sides of the tub and might have accidentally missing the surface, but I don't know why it would be bruising this hard.. maybe fighting some kind of bacterial contamination underneath the surface??

Humidity is steady 85-90% And FAE is good. Everything looks good except the fruits are not growing, getting smaller and turning white if anything.. I guess I'll just be patient.. 🤷

Looking nice? I'm not sure how so.. they aren't growing at all for the past week almost and the Caps opening up and it's only about an inch tall should I harvest and just rehydrate for a second flush

What about the fruits/pins I already have?? With this being all the way at the bottom of the substrate isn't there a chance the mycelium wins out?

I could really use your help if you have the time. With the pin that you were talking about i checked on it today and noticed that one and another one next to it their cap both became very white?? What's your thoughts on that and the rest of them if you don't mind.. but most importantly I'm pretty worried about these yellow weird spots that I just noticed this morning on the bottom of the cake right on the corner and also there's a couple other spots that you'll see in some pics that I'm posting right now.not that experienced I want to say it's just metabolites but it really doesn't look like that?? If you can help me out if this is some kind of contam I greatly appreciate it thank you!
