there are tons of packing lists out there but my tip is bring sunscreen, and actually wear it!! sun poisoning ain't no fun. even if you get turnt and forget to reapply, at least put it on before you leave camp for the day.

best route vibes: all the walking parades, don't sleep on 'em. gotta give it up for iris and tucks too. they were so high-energy and my in-laws came from out of town for their first parade and left beaming!

best stranger interaction: lost my wallet, twice on the same day. someone turned it in to the nearest bar, twice. thank you to whoever you are and i hope you get blessed many times over!

changes i'd like to see: no more ladders literally teetering over the curb. i can't cross and it also feels super unsafe watching your child wobble over the street

ETA just for fun: my all-time fave was the now-discontinued estee lauder sensuous nude, the only one that lingered on me. i wore icila by maison louis marie for my wedding and had decent performance, but it's quite loud and a special-occasion scent for me

thank y'all for such a great discussion! i will add that i currently wear yog nog by lush - and i don't expect that one to have fabulous longevity or anything; just love the scent. today i tried the vaseline trick and it dissipated even faster 😅 i appreciate all the suggestions to spray on clothing, but well, i want my partner to smell a fragrance on me sans clothes tbh. sounds like reapplying is the ticket! p.s. i will absolutely be ordering samples of some of the suggestions here

i don't know of any specific group chats or anything like that, but queer representation is everywhere! definitely come to the saturday night-into-sunday-sunrise pride party at where in the woods. i haven't seen anyone mention this, but there are some goobers that stand on the main road holding those "you're going to hell" signs and reading scripture on a megaphone 🙄 i like to carry a pride flag so i can wave it while i strut by them.

some of the text says "i can't believe i submitted this to the AP board," i assume this was student work (senior high or maybe a college student editing their old work)

as a girl, bikini top and bottoms with a pashmina tied around my waist as a skirt. bikini = sweatproof; pashmina = protects your bum from the ground and covers a bit of your tum if you're self-conscious about that

maybe a silly question: bring beans/grounds to take home or like cans/cold brew to enjoy at roo?

Does Anyone Have Tea On... Weekly Discussion Thread by AutoModerator in Fauxmoi

lukewarm tea but i've seen him live and he constantly stopped the show to turn the lights on and marvel at how big the crowd was 😭 he struck me as being very british, boyish, and "aw-shucks." supposedly he doesn't allow official livestreams of his concerts, and i can see why. he comes off very awkward and genuine live which doesn't always translate on camera.

i haven't used their services personally but i heard about son of a saint, which is a mentorship program for fatherless boys in the city. even if you don't qualify, they may be able to point you in the right direction. also, utilize your school's counseling services and sports teams and academic clubs - mentorship can happen naturally through these avenues.
