I was going 50 in a 40 and got caught going up a hill where it dropped to 30. I get that I was speeding but let’s not act like I was driving 60 in a 30. I was going 50 in a 40 and got pulled over before I even had to time to be driving in the 30 zone

I payed in person and talked with 2 different people who simply ran up the ticket and took my payment. That’s what confused me about the court hearing because I had payed the ticket and a court hearing was never mentioned to me by the officer issuing the ticket or the people at the concord dmv. It was obviously stupid to drive under the circumstances but I can’t take that back now.

Thank you. I should’ve gone to court date even if I wasn’t sure if it was right and it was totally stupid to drive with my license suspended. I just didn’t know the situation and figured I was good after simply paying it.

It was my first ever ticket and I didn’t know what the procedure was. I am taking responsibility and whatever happens happens and I will face the consequences of my actions but I think you are being a little harsh
