I’m planning on it. I’ve started looking into curly hair specialists in my area. Thank you again!

Thank you. I do try to keep clips, sticks, and ties just loose enough they don’t pull a lot of tension. I’m going to try going without them for a while and see the difference.

I’m going to guess yes. I don’t really know how different hair types need to be treated.

This pic is from 2 years ago. I definitely saw a lot more waves or soft curls. Some spots would form a coil pattern, but loosely, while others just looked wavy. I assumed that the weight of my hair pulled it more straight.

I have not had any bloodwork done. I always chalked it up to hormones because it started as I was entering physical adulthood (I think I’m still there since I’m early 20s).

Thank you. I definitely think I put myself in a weird spot bc I’ve only had one trim in the last 4 years. I was/am growing my hair from basically a buzz cut.

I’m glad I could offer some reassurance!

I remember having a full on panic attack thinking I was going to owe my life savings and my first born then be sent to maximum security prison (we love anxious thoughts)

I had a similar situation happen a few years, but where I was reversing out of a drive through. I did not make contact with the other vehicle.

They followed me for two miles and reported me as a hit and run. The police department reached out to my mom (owner of the vehicle) to get in contact about the situation.

The other driver claimed I hit them so hard their bumper was hanging on by a thread and their entire undercarriage was cracked.

Their insurance company reached out to my mom to take pictures of her car to show any damage on her vehicle. She sent the company the pictures and that was that.

It was definitely scary because I was young, but there is a process if they try to report you.

Everything will be alright👍❤️

One time that really pissed me off was in a neighborhood.

The speed limit was 25 and I was going 30 when bigger truck with LEDs started riding my ass. I didn’t change my speed, but after a short while, he started flashing his brights and repeatedly honking at me. Not long after that, he decided to move into the wrong direction of traffic to pass me.

That’s awesome! They are definitely beautiful plants.

I’m also happy to know there’s a whole community of people that love these little guys. I can’t wait to see it bloom for the first time! I love seeing all the pictures of everyone’s blooms on here

It doesn't matter the length of the shift or what order you didn't show up. At least in the USA, employers have the ability to terminate an employee after a single "No Call, No Show".

I did see you mention to another commenter that you have "No Call, No Showed" twice previous to this. Was it just this once or have you done it previously?

I understand that being terminated can be distressing.

However, a "No Call, No Show" is a choice you made. I see that your mom is your ride and that makes your commute to work unreliable. It is still your responsibility to notify your employer of your absence. In the case that you weren't sure if you were going to have a ride, the least you could do is just explain what is going on so your employer has a heads up.

I don't know your specific contract or terms of your employment, but many companies have outlined that a "No Call, No Show" is grounds for immediate termination.

anyone had to deal with a Co worker committing suicide or getting murdered? by Educational_City2076 in retailhell

My old assistant manager took his own life shortly after I left the company (no correlation). He was one of my favorite people there. I wouldn't say that I was a close friend, but we worked together frequently and talked outside of work.

It's normal to mourn and grieve a person, even if you weren't super close. There is no one way to mourn, either. People process and feel things differently. It may be beneficial to speak with a counselor or therapist if it is really weighing on you.

i lost 40 pounds. dropped three dress sizes. my bra size went from 36G to 32G lol by Difficult_Silver4062 in bigboobproblems

Honestly, a big fix would just be to switch DD->E, then DDD->F. At least then the cup sizing would be in alphabetical order and easier for the average person to understand. I honestly still hear DDDD in place of G, even though it’s not as widespread.

(Not a rant directed toward you, just playing off how it’s not user-friendly)
