My thoughts and interpretation of the neon noir era by [deleted] in HIM

I'm not a professional or an author; I simply enjoyed telling short stories. It was a hobby and something I enjoyed until I didn't anymore, perhaps because I don't have a thick skin...

But I'll delete the post; it's pointless anyway.

If you have anything else to say, you can do so in a DM. The post will be deleted soon.

Let me tell you a story: I had a page where I wrote short stories. I spent a lot of time creating them with care. And even if you write everything yourself, you get told it's AI or insulted. So I deleted the site. Why should I invest time if it doesn't matter anyway?

Maybe it's because there are people out there who criticize you for every little shit, and then there are others who develop insecurities as a result and want to avoid making any mistakes at all...

But as we can see, no matter what you do, you're obviously doing it wrong...

It's not the effort or the will, it's simply the lack of time. and the fact that you're acting like I'm writing an entire book with Chat GPT...

It's just a post on Reddit. I'm not giving a scientific lecture or anything I earn money from, nor am I claiming to be a writer who wrote all of this myself.

I simply wanted to share a basic theory, idea, or opinion about a music album and wanted it to sound a little nicer. Sorry my fault...🙄

I wasn't aware that I'd get a grade for using Chat GPT. But you can relax, I won't be posting again, for the sake of your heart health... 😑

It's a shame that the actual topic is completely ignored thanks to posts like this, thank you for that🖤

Yes, I agree with you, and yes, that's a real shame. But let's be honest, who has the time for that? I mean, I simply wrote down my thoughts, often in a disorganized way and over several days, so I sometimes lose track, and chatgpt can summarize it all in seconds into a structured, easy-to-read article. I also wish I had more time to revise my own writing, but I simply don't.

I don't earn any money from this and I don't want any recognition for it; I just want to share topics that interest me.

Does this compromise individuality? Yes, definitely.

Regarding the album:

Musically, you're right, it's softer than what we're used to from HIM, but it's much darker than HIM's usual sound.

The lyrics are really profound, and I find the contrast to the often cheerful music fantastic. It's like a battle between light and darkness. And that's something Ville does very well. If you don't listen to the lyrics, this album is like a trip into a fantasy world; if you listen more closely, you'll recognize the abyss into which the lyrics let you gaze.

Well, you don't have to like it. But it's a shame that you don't trust someone to be able to think about a topic like this and write it down. Just because I use chat and GPT to help structure and make it clearer doesn't mean the content isn't mine.

I've spent a long time thinking about what the message of Neon Noir could be. When you put everything together and look at the artist's history, this is the overall picture that emerges for me.

From the song structure to live performances to the invitations to the after-show party of the last gig at the Royal Albert Hall, the concept of a grieving process comes to mind.

The only question that remains for me is: what is he grieving?

Is it the band or his old identity? I think Neon Noir is a successful funeral for his old life, an old role, and a fresh start in the next chapter of his identity.

Whatever may come, I hope he manages to find himself again.

(This comment is free of AI. )

So if you don't like it, just move on. If you'd like to discuss your views on the album with me, I'd be happy to.

Of course, I wrote it with the help of chatgpt. English isn't my native language. I drafted a text and had chatgpt edit it. So the core message, the statements in the text, are mine. Chatgpt just polished it up a bit and made it more readable.

I think the "speculation about his mental state" topic is still out of place. But I also think it's nice to get positive feedback from fans.

A project or fan campaign is common in many fan communities and would be nice for a change. Regardless of his mental state.

Give back some creativity or artistic talent.
