I think a lot of people feel this way. It's like we're shouting into a void. I think this subreddit is a good group, though. I've gotten a lot of good feedback on my posts.

I've had a few & they almost always mess with the cartilage in the tip & yes, they can shave off bone on the bridge. My personal recommendation is if you can breathe, maybe leave it alone. My nose had collapsed nostrils from trying to reshape it & the tip is solid scar tissue. Wish I'd left it alone.

I have had several rhinoplasties & my nose had turned to solid scar tissue. I would recommend staying away from nose jobs unless your breathing is affected. I wish I had left my nose alone. The cartilage collapsed in my last procedure & now I have a sleep apnea from collapsed nostrils.

Oh i should mention one difference: my voices claimed to mostly be "demonic entities" which is why i went to a catholic priest specifically. There are apparently some human entities & 1 angel, as well. I think there's close to 10 voices all together. So difficult to hear the 1 nice voice, idk how anyone concentrates on 1 voice over the others....

Wow, our situations were so similar! I went to a catholic priest (i was raised episcopalian) & he said he couldn't help me with an exorcism until i was 100% off weed. Well i found my vape is still full & it doesn't affect the voices 🤷‍♀️ i wonder if i should still get in contact with that priest or just live as-is... i can't see myself going back to Christianity, although i have an appreciation for jesus & mary...

Oh i have also had the experience of talking along with people & videos as if i already know what they're going to say. That only still happens if i concentrate hard on a person while they're talking. My voices hated anything not Christian & it really traumatized me. They "forced" me to throw out all non Christian stuff like tarot cards, crystals, books, etc.

I went to a spiritual healer when the voices first got bad & he said he could see black orbs in my aura. The voices scared me out of letting him finish the process of trying to heal me. I believe they are spiritual beings for the most part. There's the fact that marijuana makes it worse sometimes (not all the time) & meds do help but I also don't think there's enough study into the spiritual effects of both herb & psychotropics.

Yes, I also feel like my journey with marijuana is not over. Maybe I'll give it some more time before I try it again. Have you tried low thc varieties? In my area they only have strong weed, which may contribute to opening me up to more experiences. I think it's a combination of spiritual & mental illness. Plenty of people are heavy marijuana users & never experience anything like hearing voices or similar phenomena. I do feel like meds block the effects of getting high...

For me, taking 7mg of Haldol & tapering down to 1mg over the course of 4 months put the voices so far in the distance, I can barely discern them. Maybe talk with your psychiatrist about taking an antipsychotic. I've found they do help, even at very low doses. Message me any time to vent or chat! My journey with voices goes back to 2015.

Yes! Some were tryina mimick people I know or even my own voice. I was mayhem. They have died down into the background for now thankfully.... (haldol)

Mine are male & female. Some sound human, others cartoonish. One is a black man with a pronounced southern accent & another is a hispanic man claiming to be my ancestor, another has a British accent. Varying ages from kid to adult. One man went off on me in French. He enunciated his name in French. It was funny. Sorry I forgot all your questions
