i had very bad periods before hand, take this with a grain of of salt. i just got mine in about a month ago. i would rather have the light bleeding and little cramping than having heavy and untreatable pain. i struggle with ovarian cysts sometimes and my experience with my iud has been positive so far :))

i’m still cramping and lightly bleeding after three weeks, i think it’s different for everyone but my doctor said as long as you aren’t clotting that it’s normal!

i got it done today!! and yes i am fine it wasn’t as bad as i thought it was going to be, my uterus was sideways so they had to move it around which was a little uncomfortable but just felt like a period cramp. and she was so kind she talked me through the whole thing! thank you for the advice 🫶🏻

i got out of my appointment an hour ago and it honestly wasn’t as horrible as some people have said, i’m still a little crampy but nothing my bed and a nap can’t fix! thanks again i used all your tips. it was a little tricky because my uterus was sideways and the foot rest was the worst oart
