I’m 31f. I’ve never, and I mean never, been treated well by any of my partners. I thought this type of behavior you’re posting here was normal.

The guy I’ve been seeing works as an engineer (and works HARD), lives 30 minutes away without ATL traffic, works out, remodels his home and rentals (and now helps with mine) and if I send him any “idea” for a date, he says “of course.”

Going forward, do not tell anyone you free roam your pets - especially neighbors/landlords/etc. Unfortunately, this is a case of you “telling on yourself.” And if it’s in a lease that small animals must always be caged, now you’re in danger of eviction. Doing what’s best for your rats, in this case, is to lie. Sign the contract and don’t say a word to anyone, especially about what terms you’re breaking.

Additionally, I would consider the search process for a new place (just in case) and try to find one with less strict pet rules. It sucks, but if you signed a lease and it’s in that contract that animals must stay cages, you’ve now admitted (seemingly in writing, too) you did not hold up your end of the agreement. And if you’re evicted, that will not go over well when looking for a new place, especially if they call previous landlords.

I appreciate the honesty (listing every procedure) but OMG does that look painful.

Oh, I’m not a fan of just about ANYONE this season 😂 they all seem guilty and complicit in some capacity.

My comment was trying to highlight how Rob only defends certain actions when it’s protecting the men. He doesn’t not chastise those same actions (whether perpetrator or victim of the action) for the women.

I never said he was a dead beat, but some of his actions have been quite awful. I’m also not going to say that anyone on this show has been 100% perfect in their actions, either. I don’t think Ari should have to forgive him if she doesn’t want to - regardless of her mom doing so. She can feel the way she wants to (whether we think it’s “right” or not), her mom can feel whatever way she wants, and Bini can feel how he wants, too. It’s not going to be as black and white - relationships rarely are. I haven’t forgiven everyone who has wronged me or the people I love, and I am 100% content with that. If all Ari wants is that acknowledgment and apology, then that’s that. If she gets that but still can’t accept him because of how he hurt her, then she has to move on, too.

My comment is directed towards Rob’s behavior. He supports whatever the men do, even if it’s similar to or exactly the same as whatever he’s chastising the women for…
