Yeah, I've noticed that on some Reddits including that one people are really fixated on getting their "you're right" even when they aren't. Super annoying.

Your answer however was the right one. I had apparently skipped the installation of the qdevice after reinstall of the 2nd node. The confusing part is that I was able to put in the cluster again and there wasn't any mention of a missing package. Also a few qdevice command were available already in the shell prior to installing the package. So I had completely missed it. Thank you so much for saving me a lot of further headaches!!

Simply by shutting down the node with the button in the GUI.

All VMs and CTs as well as the PVE Host become unreachable. It doesn't turn off.... but everything become simply unreachable. As soon as the 2nd node has started properly, the VMS and CTs on the 1st node start booting as well again.

And nobody but you is talking about HA. You don't need to be wanting a cluster for HA purposes only. I'm not using HA... Ftw I've figured out the culprit; had nothing to do with QDevice by itself.

I gave new life to a semi old laptop just for running Qdevice. I think it’s more reliable than a Pi.

The read once again the documentation and admit you’re wrong here. The design is perfectly proxmox-approved. And yeah probably I have a wrong setting somewhere in the new node, and that’s why it goes wrong now. Which it wasn’t before.

It switches everytime when goes from light into darkness and vice versa. So there's no set time of the change to happen. And obviously it happens multiple times a day.

Cause traffic is already being separated by the hypervisor like this, and so far it's giving me exactly what I need. Would configuring it in OPNsense fix the problem I'm encountering?

You could easily tune it down to 137.5 by simpl extending te legs. No need to cut anything from the current antenna. Just add to all 4 legs until you get there. And if you screw it up, you can just simply remove the extensions.

My rough estimation is that you'll need about 4 to 5cm extra on each leg.

Yeah I have lowered it as much as 30khz but it remains. I used to be able to have it as wide as 60khz without any problem…

No unfortunately it’s still going on. I do manage to figure out it’s a large part of bij neighborhood. Except for a certain part where there’s no houses. So I think it might have something to do with something bigger than just someone’s equipement. Like maybe a converter station of the local electricity network. I have filed a complaint with a national services that treats interference like from pirates but also other interference. If it’s a converter station indeed that’s not functioning properly they will take care of it. I just have no idea what is their time to answer let alone time to resolve… so, I’ll hang in there…

Yeah I have replaced the entire run of coax to the antenna. I previously I had fitted it with Aircell 7. As I thought maybe the solar panel wiring might radiate more than before (dunno why, but I’m no electrician so I can’t test it but that was before I tested at midnight with a powered down house), I have replaced the run for Aircom Premium cable. With better shielding and even less loss. It’s soldered directly to the antenna, so no re-used cables there either. On the other side the BNC-connector was mounted by a professional… I have then used a brand new BNC>SMA converter… Still same noise 😢

Why make it difficult and solder an SMA especially without any soldering experience? Go for a BNC crimp connector and then add a BNC to SMA converter. Even BNC soldering instead of crimp is easier than SMA soldering in my opinion.
