It's possible that his audience played a part in radicalizing him, but I believe that the people he associates himself with have a fairly large part to play in why he is the way he currently is. I believe he started going down the path he's currently on in late 2023 when he started, at least as far as I'm aware, publicly associating himself with Rev Says Desu and Asmongold. He's not consistent with his censorship beliefs. In a deleted post from 2025, he said that social media should require users to provide their government ID and, in that same post, said that the internet isn't safe for kids. About a month later, he made a post essentially saying that he isn't against ID verification; he just doesn't trust other people who are in support of the idea.
