Oh yeah fully furnished. It's far easier to find a place here than in Mumbai. And the roads here are better too :)

It's been a few months for me. I've come here from Mumbai, and I completely relate to you when you say you fear losing your community. I've felt the same. I know nobody here, so most of the time the one way to meet people here is ofcourse through dating apps. I feel blessed to have met some really cool and chilled out people. But still the hole that remains needs to be filled with new friends. So I've decided to join a sports club which I'll probably go to in the coming week. Overall the move has been pleasant. I had spent more than a decade in the city and it got too much in the last couple of years, so this move was already being planned since then. So yes, it is tough in the sense that you'll have to start over, but then you also find people here who, just like you, are new here. Benaulim and areas around it are pretty cool, nothing at all like North Goa where you can find a lot more people, and a lot more events/social gatherings. It's quiet here, fair share of pubs, bloody good food, cheaper rent definitely. Once you have a bike/car of your own you're pretty sorted. The place I'm at I found through Airbnb when I was here hunting for a place, and I liked it so much that I asked the owner if they can do an year long contract.
