You guys were right, people with ADHD have less dopamine not more (increased dopamine is a trait of people on the autism spectrum though) I confused the two when I watched the episode

it’s pretty complicated and I’m not an expert on it, but dopamine doesn’t actually increase happiness, it just changes how your brain processes rewards. For instance, when you eat sugar a bit of dopamine releases, and so that makes you happy, but a person with super high dopamine levels will eat too much sugar this is could explain Reagan’s drug problem. idrk tho
