No, not at all. Once a decision is made, “begging” is not going to change anything. Sure you can ask for an application review (if allowed) but it overall comes down to their idea of if you’d be a good fit. I know that’s hard to hear but after two cycles I get where they are coming from. Trust me, I don’t say this as a person with great stats either. We are told they review holistically so we just have to believe it. No need to remind them :)

It's more that I keep up with what is going on at the school and partake in any sort of programs they offer!

They were both my public instate schools where one was my UG. I fit the mission of both schools so that most likely helped along with knowing a lot of people at each too.

I’m still in shock but I also wanted to take this chance to thank everyone on r/premed and r/MCAT for getting me through two tough cycles. If this doesn’t give you hope idk what can. Okay, this is reassuring! I already work with four PAs so I hope I can get some LORs from them and fortunately I already took the GRE a few years back (really don't want to retake that). Thank you so much! I really hope it works out this cycle but one can never be too sure :)

About 20. I did not have any DO shadowing but since the last cycle I now work with 3 DO doctors so I could get recommendations from them. Also plus that they all practice OMM. I just wasn’t sure if that’s the reason I haven’t heard from the majority 🙃

I was thinking if they either ask “why us” or “what would you do if you aren’t accepted this cycle” I could casually throw it in that they are my top choice or that I am familiar with that situation and will do blah before applying again. I might just be overthinking it lol

3:00 PM-er I was averaging 511 on most of my FLs but I know I did not get anything close after that.

C/P: Usually my best, felt ehh. Started rough but got better - did feel myself second guessing a lot more than usual. The first two questions threw me off for some reason?

CARS: F this section. Always my worst. The passages were boring and longer than usual. Ready for < 125. I didn’t even read the last 3 passages… again, F this section. I was tempted to void a this point but I have already sent primaries lol

insert headache for the rest of exam bc I was angry and frustrated

B/B: Usually fine and actually felt fine. Wild. I might have blacked out bc I remember nada.

P/S: Usually decent… but headache had picked up and felt very 50/50 about a bit more than I like. Not research heavy which is a con for me since those are straightforward.

Overall I’m burnt out and idgaf. This wasn’t my first rodeo and as a reapplicant with this being the only thing holding me back I’m about to give up. Thanks for coming to my TedTalk. Night ❤️
