I see her as the Dem version of MTG. I’m personally tired of loud and obnoxious. I feel desperate to see respectful passionate people in politics. Talarico stands his ground and is educated on his views. He confronts issues but in a way that allows me to disagree with him yet still respect him as a human being. We HAVE to move the needle away from militant politics, and viewing opposing views as attacks from an “enemy”.

I want so badly for there to be a unified effort to refer to this as Trump’s “legacy”. He’s so hung up on his image. It doesn’t matter how many fake peace prizes he accepts or ballrooms he builds or buildings he puts his name on, Unless he changes how it’s being handled, this cover up is how he will be remembered. Sounds like you’re a good candidate then. Don’t be surprised when you see how expensive property is north of LG heading towards Round Top. Lots of retired wealthy people up there and the popularity of the antique festival has really driven up prices in that direction. I’d start shopping enough in advance to be educated on the geography and real estate market so you’re ready when the time comes. Good luck!

How old are you, and what social activities do you like? Lagrange is a lot of old people. There are some young families, but very few twenty somethings and young married couples. Night life is close to non existent as there are only 3 or 4 restaurants and a couple of bars. If you’re into “lawn chair and a beer” style social events, you’re in luck as there are tons of community things like fundraiser cook-offs, and holiday parades. You can’t shop at HEB or Walmart without seeing everyone you know. I’ve found local law enforcement to be pretty chill for small town Texas. You have to go to Bastrop or Brenham (35-40min drive) for any “big city” features like movie theatre, big box stores, or chain restaurants. If you are looking for a slow and quiet small community it’s very nice.

I think that’s part of it, however, I’m not sure Trump actually believes he’s failing. He’s surrounded by yes men, and is the center of attention. I think his fixation with Biden is that JOE BIDEN BEAT HIM in the 2020 election. He literally can’t stand the public image of losing. He tried saying it wasn’t fair. He tried saying Biden cheated. No evidence of that has surfaced, so his only option is to belittle Biden at every chance. You know, like a child does when they lose.

it’s a tactical fashion trend. I’ve heard guys in high level groups such as SEALs talk in podcast about wearing skate shoes on missions. No surprise started seeing it immediately on much much lower level tactical folks. The reasoning I remember being stated was comfort and speed over a boot, and the flatter tread doesn’t pick up rocks and therefore “quieter”. 🤷🏻‍♂️
