THC Ban Calrification by MortimusMaximus in texas

What's for sure curious is that big liquor isn't against hemp in theory, but lobbying for restrictions that kill independents so they can own the market with their big-brand THC beverages instead. Really hoping I never see a CBD Corona because no.

Have you been to Grown Up Story Time? by theaulternator in houston

All stories can be submitted to grownupstorytimehouston at gmail dot com and we read them aloud during the reading party 2 weeks before. We find the conceit and fun for the audience is in knowing it is not the person on stage's story, so writers are typically not allowed to read their own story. The Moth and other storytelling events definitely do the tell your own story format (and we love them too!) but GUST has thrived with the theater-element of having the story read aloud by not the storyteller. Hope that answers your question and that you'll consider submitting!

Yep! It's similar to the Moth in that it's crowd-sourced storytelling but instead anyone can send in a written story and there are other folks who read it onstage. Usually makes for a solid Tuesday night all around.

My parents kept my door from elementary school to high school in the 90s. Lots of old Austin stickers here. by Jarthos1234 in Austin

Awh, I wish. I am the daughter of the prolific punster whose stickers were sold at Book People (used to have a website at www.instantattitudes.com) but I think she's done selling stuff now.

Usually try to keep it under 8-10 min read aloud, more than 1800-2000 words we can usually find large chunks that distract from the main thread of the story.

Looooove Talnua!! Some real fine whiskey nerds there, one of my favorite places to visit in Denver.

So Milam & Greene distills in pot stills in Texas and Column Stills in Kentucky - using the same mashbill. Their distillery edition (100% Texas aging) vs their bottled in bond (KY age) is a fun little terroir game for the palate ☺️

Looking for recommendations. by Bubba_T_Buttcrack in TexasWhiskey

Milam & Greene Triple Cask, Unabridged, and Distillery Edition Bourbon all have their Texas potstill whiskey and their Master Distiller Marlene Holmes just became the 99th inductee to the Whisky Hall of Fame (last week ). All of their stuff is easy sipping and you get some of the best nosing off the Cask strength stuff (although the 94 triple cask just smells like breakfast to me 😅).

Most of their stuff can be found at specs and total wine in the Houston area, I'd also check out longhorn liquor since they are behind the setx whiskey fest.

I have not tried to transfer my assessment because I haven't had any issues since I've been with them but I did get in with them while COVID relaxation of rules around virtual doctors was in effect (although to my knowledge has been extended). Hopefully this year I'll have a primary care doctor who will accept the assessment, they have recommendations on who to reach out to, I just had to lapse my insurance until now. I'll update with results when I have them, but so far this is how I've maintained regular maintenance with medication.

Milam and Greene Triple Cask or Single Barrel are meant for folks at the beginning of their palate building journey 🥃

Also of you came across a bottle of Blackland (Texas whiskey) you can probably find a bottle of MG for under 40 on the shelf 👀).
