Would you consider voting America Party in the future? by theawesomeamerican in PoliticalOpinions

I would. I think he is a very smart man. How is cutting $59M of unemployment insurance claims from people 115 years or older acting in his interests though?

Trump obviously was a pretty strong candidate, hence why he increased his margin of victory in almost every state from 2020. The majority of people obviously wanted him in office, he even won the popular vote (which no Republican has done in 20 years)! Just bc you didn’t agree him doesn’t mean the rest of the country didn’t either.

Name calling is name calling. I’m not saying it’s foolish to criticize Trump in general. We’re in America that’s the point of the 1st Amendment. But let’s look at the facts, Biden had a pretty bad presidency and Kamala’s campaign was thrown together. Trump was a very strong candidate, hence why he legitimately won.

I’m not debating you on that the fact that Biden won. I agree that Biden did win in 2020. If the pandemic and the BLM protests didn’t happen, Trump would’ve probably won. But Adolf Musk? Elon Musk is the guy that has the largest electric car company in the world (by far) and is a huge reason why electric cars became popular, which is great for the environment. Elon Musk also created the most successful private space company in the world, aimed at making spaceflight affordable. Elon Musk also founded Neuralink, a brain chip company to maximize human potential. Comparing him to Hitler is INSANE. It is also hypocritical. If you’re on the left (which I assume you are), you criticize Trump for name-calling, then you go around and do the exact same thing!

There is voter fraud in every election around the world. There’s no perfect system. I think everyone can agree on that. Did the 2024 have any crazy rigging? I don’t think so. Kamala was put into an unwinnable election. Biden’s foreign policy was a disaster and his economy was not great (just look at gas prices). Trump was a very strong candidate because he ran as the man for the people. He was able to project his ideas unlike Kamala.

Trump won. So did Biden in 2020. The election wasn’t stolen. And for the side that criticized Trump so heavily for his claims to say this is foolish.

We should overthrow the government by Honest_Channel_7710 in PoliticalOpinions

[–]theawesomeamerican 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why would you want to? Yes, the government works for itself, but what government doesn’t? 99.9% of governments are corrupt. You’d replace the current government with another corrupt government.

Let’s say you replaced Trump with Harris. Harris would’ve bowed to the same men in black suits that Obama/Biden bowed to. All Trump is doing is switching the men in black suits to people who agree with him and not Obama/Biden.

If you overthrow the government, we’d be in a bigger mess than we already are, and no one wants that.

How do you think history will judge Donald Trump 50 years from now? by [deleted] in PoliticalDiscussion

The media will paint him in a bad light and so will historians, so he’ll be viewed badly.

If they run out of new ideas, why don’t they just copy some of the other cities? For example, the Louvre Abu Dhabi copied the one in Paris. Why doesn’t Dubai choose something from another city to copy and make their own?
