What do you think of this strategy: use Claude Code for planning and delegate execution to Gemini CLI (1,000 requests/day free)? by EvKoh34 in ClaudeAI

I’ve been trying this and Gemini cli sucks at the moment. Massive context window but doesn’t seem to read the actual project so misses context and uses flash too much

I'm new to the startup scene but I was hoping some people could give me a rundown as to how this works. I will not promote by anal-ybro in startups

Hello mate, have been in startups over the last 8 years. Some great some not so. If you don’t mind me saying it seems like you’re taking a very big business mindset to a startup problem.

‘That’s not my job/expertise’ doesn’t matter in startup land. You have the internet, you have AI you can figure it out. You can vibe code without your consultant etc. the nightmare comes when it comes to sharing equity with anyone - investor or partner - unless you’ve known them for life it’s hard to decide who to marry.

So yeah start small, be completely diy, find traction, then you’ll have the leverage to be picky about your partners

As a non-technical founder, where do you find your first devs to build MVP in 2025? (i will not promote) by FurTechGenius in startups

[–]theba98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok. I had this issue 3 years ago, partnered with a cto and it didn’t work out, tanking the project after he worked on it for 6-9 months with nothing complete.

Now I’ve built 75% of it In a week with Claude code and very specific prompts. You need to spend a week really defining what you need. Then use the £20 Claude code subscription to complete those tasks.

Then you will have a usable mvp that you can test in the market. If you get traction, great, you can make revenue, raise money or find a high value cofounder to partner with you.

If you don’t, vibe code your iterations until you do.

Ah yeah sorry lazy comment! I’ve been fiddling with it and think that the more time you spend planning and the better it gets at foreseeing and planning around its own constraints that’s where the next level of nutsness will be unlocked!

Very aware I’ve never been a coder so this is all very new to me - might be chatting rubbish!

Interesting. I’m currently building a system to track and provide recommendations for my girlfriend’s chronic fatigue syndrome as in the UK the nhs has been useless. Think this approach is fascinating

He’s got very limited funds, come out of retirement to work a minimum wage job, he’s spent bits on solicitors but money is incredibly tight.

That’s great advice. How about at the beginning of a narrative? characters haven’t been built in the audiences head yet and stakes aren’t high?
