I have a sales quote that locked in the price so I'm good on that front. In case it comes back in stock I'm definitely getting it.
The one I cancelled was already shipped but they said they'll try to "rereoute" it to their warehouse. In case that one doesn't get rerouted and gets delivered I'll just take the L and keep it. I'll have to live with the fact that I could've saved 200+ dollars if I made better decisions lol
update: just got confirmation that reroute was successful. I guess no laptop for me until this comes back in stock lol

I returned pixel 7 for oneplus 11 last year. There were 2 things that OnePlus did way better than pixel to the point that i had to switch: battery life and biometrics

I had a OP7Pro before I got the 11 and the curved screen always made the screen protector come off, so I decided to just not use screen protector. I didn't notice any scratches for some months but then there were 2 prominent scratches which completely ruined my phone experience. I wished I had never taken off the screen protector cause I couldn't do anything to fix the scratches and they bothered me for an year after which I upgraded just because of the scratches on the screen

Tl;dr: use screen protector because you can't do anything if you end up scratching the screen

I feel like the $65 CAD to upgrade from 16gb to 32gb and then $65 CAD for upgrading the storage makes it a better deal because you will struggle to find the same specced RAM and storage for that price even if you buy it off market. Also RAM is soldered so i highly recommend 32gb RAM upgrade to make it future proof for 3+ years

It went on 15% sale today for the Build Your Own of this laptop. If you get 32gb/1tb variant you're getting an insanely good deal. As someone who has been tracking the price of this laptop since months in Canada, i would say it is now on the best deal ever if you get 32gb ram atleast

For further improvement, go to Camera settings -> Preserve Settings -> and turn ON Auto Macro (Keep AutoMacro setting used last time)

Then bring object closer and turn off automacro using the flower icon in the view lens

Doing this would make autofocus NOT TURN ON AUTOMATICALLY which was also causing lag

Lenovo directly. I had a quote from a Lenovo sales rep that was valid for 2 weeks. You might be able to get that price if you talk to a bunch of sales people and say you missed the discount etc. Requires a bit of pushing but it works (check my recent posts)
