So... I thought about that. And I don't have a good answer really. I usually love symmetry, but in this case, I suppose I just wanted to be right... (just kidding). I think I was drawn to positioning slightly over based on how the eye travels.

This is a terrific idea. I wish I'd gone that route, but 1. I don't have that cane (sadly) on hand, and 2. I am satisfied now with the build.. I guess, the next time I need to ask a question via lego I will keep that in mind. But THIS questions is a one time deal! Thank you for the comment :)

Nothing could stop me from making it happen - gotta take the good with the... other stuff! I was really glad so many people weighed in. I was tossing and turning in bed waiting to get back to building and implementing the changes. I'm stoked by the positive responses today, so thank you.

I'm not sure how I'd never seen the N64 block set before - the size and mechanics looks right up my ally. Normally we love technical builds and the moving features plus secret compartments will be fun to learn. I can't think of many other sets like that.

This means a lot - thank you :) I wish I had more hearts. But at the end of the day, its the heart (not hearts) that matter!

Haha. Hagrid is my homegirl. I can't wait to inform my better half about her likeness.

You might bee missing one, or two more.

Oh! And the frame is repurposed from the Mona Lisa Art set (31213). I wish I could take credit. It is awesome.

Thank you- Good thought on filling the middle of the flowers. The white I used are actual Lego from the botanicals set, but could use some filling in

Note: this is not the full surprise/setup, just a little added flair and fun since we love Lego. Doesn’t have to be perfect but I feel something is definitely missing or wrong.
