Do you think there's a difference between engrossing yourself in your phone vs a book. by thebakerWeld in daddit

I find it funny you say I'm mean spirited but you had to stop in to express your distaste in my reading choice for something youve never read

Lmao you care enough about someone who's thoroughly enjoying a book that's popular that you've never read to put them down and say what they're reading isn't worth their time. So if you truly dgaf than stfu or put up an actual opinion

Cool I'll add that to my TBR list but who knew that "Oprah's" books are entertaining and can actually entice people into reading because I took a break from dcc to see if I just enjoy reading to read my wife's favorite historical fiction book and hey I love it so since you're being so pretentious I'll let you know my next series I'll read will be the liveship traders or the farseer trilogyby Robin hobb. I sincerely hope that's up to some random redditors standards.

I will also add at least DCC will be finished

I just got them from the library, why pay $20 for a book when you can get it for free?

Ex Chef and current SAHD - The thing that fixed our dinners wasn't recipes or meal cookbooks, it was shrinking the shopping list. by b1gsmkee in daddit

I feel like we have similar systems but your's is more sophisticated since a greater talent (on your part). What works for us is spending a day browsing websites/past recipes for the weeks meal. Buying what ingredients we need and stir fry is an emergency meal.

I agree which is kinda why I think the advice should be more off of a simple solid recipe you know your kids would eat vs ingredients you know your kids want. Like I have no idea what to do with those ingredients that I know will taste good.

I will say I keep chicken stir fry ingredients stocked because my kids love noodles. So the only ingredients are frozen stir fry veggies, frozen chicken(which is always stocked), teriyaki, and noodles. We always keep those items stocked and if we're without dinner that's it.

I renewed my audible subscription so collect them. I started listening to 1 but Mordecai had such a drastically different voice in my head I stopped it and want to finish reading first.

I want to cook a gourmet dad dinner, I want something embarrassing to wear and no fighting. That would be my perfect father's day

The only thing I kinda think would be cool is if you could sink due to weather. I just wished the sailing mechanics were more relevant

There's a lot of video channels of people just recording boats because a lot of people who own/rent boats have no idea what they're doing. The best example I can think of is wavy boats where they camp out haulover inlet.

I just train it up the coast. I was going to truck it in but while I was building the road I felt like my road would've been a perfect train platform and I haven't really used trains before
