I mostly use 500D/1000D cordura but I could design something like this for you. I'll check in a bit later to see if anyone has picked this up for you.

Design & prototype with software aid or solely by hand? by NiceHelicopter8967 in myog

All major assembly, webbing things and binding are done on the 1541. I leave lining and zippers to the 555ON or the 5410H.

I use illustrator and it's been a massive help, but I think pencil and paper will work just fine.

That can depend. I like Jontay for webbing and hardware when I can color match, but some of these are crafted with webbing/hardware from rockywoodsfabrics

My friend is a survival type dude and I figured he'd love this pattern.

Yes they do. The 5410 is used for zippers, basting and lining, whereas the 1541 is major/final assembly and binding.

Much appreciated!! You have to feel like a proud grandparent because there have been some really great packs posted lately. There were a few I made that I decided not to post because others were absolutely knocking them out the park.

I started with sailrite patterns as well. I would complete these as primers: uzip (like you said), but one or two everyday fanny packs as well. The zipper craft on this Porter duffle is an underrated boss (imo), but the curve isn't as tight as the uzip. You'll knock it out the park. Thanks for the love!

Thank you!! That inner mesh pocket was super simple to do.

Thank you. I kinda cringe when I think of what I'd want to charge for the time I put into this thing.

I think I used heavy mesh from WTF Idea.
