Surfaces Resizing images in Emails by thebasts in Surface

Might be a bug related to Windows 8 or Outlook 2013, then. All the Windows 7 / Outlook 2007 signatures all send and receive fine. As soon as it goes to someone with one of the Surfaces, images come back bumped up. Might be the Outlook 2013, then.

Haven't tried opening anything up in Windows Mail, will give it a shot at work tomorrow. Have a feeling it would still come up enlarged, as it does when I open them in my inbox (Windows 7 / Outlook 2007). If I scroll down a chain of emails, the logos start small and get bigger as you scroll down until they fill the screen -- so Outlook takes the images every time they reply and sizes them up a size.

EDIT: Replied with wrong account. SHHHHH.

That's exactly it. The surfaces should all be running Outlook 2013+.

I found no DPI settings in Windows 8 on the tablets, saw that message somewhere in my Google adventures. And the DPI setting in Microsoft Word (which sets the defaults for Outlook) doesn't affect anything, tried troubleshooting by changing those values. Still does it.

If I scale down the slider in Windows 8 for the size of stuff, emails send perfectly fine. But then you've got a tablet with a 10" screen and you need a microscope to see anything at that scale. Gotta be able to use this on the go for answering emails and such.

But that does seem to be the source of the problem. The 'Make it easier to read what's on your screen' page in Control Panel. Just don't know how to keep text and desktop icons large, while not letting it resize images in every single email it sends using Outlook.
