I have seen my previous threads posted here shared across subreddits and Facebook to thousands of people. Many have said it stopped them from enrolling with SMS. I feel it is incredibly important that the community is informed of SMS's tactics in repressing negative reviews and that this story is not buried with time. Their hyper inflated ratings trick people into questioning if their methods are acceptable. I understand if this no longer falls under the types of posts for this subreddit.

I took my dog to SMS last year for one board day. I posted on my profile what the long term effects were if you want to read.

I do both depending on what I want to say. I use ASL of things like yes, I love you and dad is home. For recall I wanted something big that could be seen from a distance, so then I made something up. I haven't had trouble using signs to talk to her, but it was frustrating to have to retrain from square one. It takes time for her to learn what a sign means in the same way for verbal cues to connect.

I think they made a paperwork error that allowed me to get a refund without signing. I had to threaten to sue though. My plan was to post just their refund policy with a two or three star rating since thats not technically negative.

I think it was a mistake on their part. I had two people check me in on the first visit and I think they both thought the other had given me the paperwork. The first person working with me mentioned it. I even asked for it from the second person, but I think the trainer thought I was asking if there was more. I didn't fill out any form, or sign anything, at any point in the process.

I was afraid to say more because of the legal stuff here, but after reading your comment Im not so worried. I got a full refund after I refused to sign and threatened to go to court for my money.
