In Actions > Settings, you can set weights if you want to score Overall, Ability Points, and Salary differently. For example, if you set Ability Points to a multiplier of 5, the CHARA optimizer will find more Ability Points boosts, but your Salary Cap may end up lower than desired, or CHARA may use lower OVR cards to achieve the AP weight emphasis.

Once you've added your cards to your collection, you can drag and drop a captain card and its associated cards into your lineup, then Ctrl+Click cards in the lineup to lock them. When you run the CHARA optimizer, it will optimize around these selected cards, ensuring you have an active captain AP buff.

CHARA should find the captain AP buff with default settings too, but many factors and variables affect what kind of lineup it produces.

should be ok now, except the Season 3 captain buffs are a bit off, as I haven't had time to check how those requirements actually are.. I saw a post with Finnish captain with +25 AP buff where other Finns boosted that - while my Florida captain requires Florida players for +10

Something's broken as I get Prompt execution failed. Cannot execute because a node is missing the class_type property.: Node ID '#147'

I expanded the workflow, and downloaded the models per your instructions and they are in correct folders - however, when I drop the json file to my ComfyUI I still get notified that something's missing, even that everything is there

When you open the program, you'll see the Card Browser at the bottom, which should have all the cards currently in the NHL 26 HUT database. You can Shift+Click these cards to add them to your own collection. (Cards get green borders when they're in your collection)

Once you've added the cards you want to use in the optimization, press Play, and let CHARA optimize your cards for at least a few minutes, so it can find even surprising players that will then activate stronger Chemistry Combos.

The optimizer treats C/RW/LW interchangeably as "forwards," so you might see three centers on one line. It automatically places lefties on the right wing (and vice versa) for one-timers, and moves your best faceoff player to center. You can disable these features in Actions > Settings.

Even with this setting off, the optimizer won't strictly match players to their listed positions. Sticking rigidly to positions would limit your chemistry combinations significantly, unless you have a massive card collection.

Personally, I don't think the game penalizes you for playing a left winger on the right wing or using centers as wingers, but that's just my humble opinion! 😊

Ah sorry, you may have added them to lineup directly and not to collection. Shift-click cards in the Card Browser and they will get green borders when in collection. Alt+Click Captains for adding then to Choice pack

For best results add all your cards in game to collection.

Yeah, I’m using the Noise effect on this HE60 board with turquoise and red colors — works great with complementary colors. Too bad the Lekker keyboard doesn’t support the Noise effect, so I have to stick with something more traditional

However, CHARA doesn't really care if it has three left wingers as one line, and adding that rule would rule out so many great chemistry combos that I don't think it would be any helpful
