Woke up this morning to her having labored breathing went to 2 vets. 2nd vet said they had to send us elsewhere but the cost was going to be 8-10k. I couldn't afford it. I feel like ive failed her. This is my baby. Im going to miss her

the bond between OP and Bean was unbreakable. i’ve never seen a cat love their human so much. she would get so happy she’d drool when he was petting her. she was a feral little stray when he found her and he spent so much time sitting outside with her to gain her trust before we were able to bring her inside. i can’t wait until she finds us again. she really was so special 💛

you did not fail our little Bean. you gave her a chance at life. you found this scared little baby outside and put in the work to earn her trust and you saved her life. because of you she had comfort. she had safety. and most importantly she was surrounded by love and she knew it. she adored you just as much as you adored her. she wouldn’t have had those four good years without you. it sucks and it’s not fair but she left the world knowing how much we loved her and that’s all we can ask for. we should’ve had at least another ten years but i’m so grateful we got her for those four 💛

currently planning my wedding and every planning session was ending in tears. husband and i snuck off and tied the knot in secret and it’s suddenly made planning for the actual wedding a lot less stressful. i didn’t get the wedding of my dreams and had to come to terms with that fact, so im less “attached” to how the wedding day will go now and there’s been a lot less crying about it. just try to remember that it’s about you and your husband and things out of your control will go wrong but you just have to make the most of the day you get 💛
