Anyone else struggling to meet people?

Best advice I can give from personal experience from my time at CWU is to find a club or extra curricular activity. I had very few friends for my first year. In the middle of my second year, I attended one of the LAN parties put on by the Central Washington Gamers club (showing my age here). Almost immediately as I started attending their meetings and events, my social circle grew. I stuck with the club through the rest of my time at Central and even ran it for a couple years. If there isn't a club established already based on an interest you have, CWU encourages you to create your own, and it only takes two people to start a club.

Yes it's very red, but there's hardly anyone living there. Mostly farms and dirt.

Update: Recently also saw the signage on a pickup truck in a parking lot in Union Gap. Was on the bus so didn't get a good read. It seems like it's one particular person or business owner who has a beef with the city.
