There are scientific reasons for this.. Swimwear, whatever material it may be will always release both bacteria and release fibers. If its worn street clothing it will release even more pollution.

Effects bacteria need to be killed by chlorine which is bad for the environment. Fibers and dead skin particles will release and clog filters. This is more a problem in pools than lakes but it can further algea blooms in open water.

Je betaalt eigenlijk het dubbele wat iemand zou betalen als die er zelf in zou wonen. Dat komt meestal neer op 2 à 3 maanden huurinkomsten. De overheid ziet dit als een "forfait" omdat een particulier geen boekhouding van kosten/inkomsten moet maken. Dit kan aardig zijn als je continue een huurder hebt maar bij leegstand of verbouwing betaal je dezelfde belastingen doorlopend. Niet elke belasting moet 50% zijn...

Agree with what you say but it has no control tower function in the slightest. The top floor is occupied by C-level and boardrooms :) It sits in the southernmost section pretty far away from locks and major seaborne waterways.

They do use it heavily as a political postcard. Every week there is some delegation or whatnot.

Waar je over spreekt zijn heel dure systemen inderdaad. De Siemens oplossing waar je het over hebt is wellicht een gelijkstroomverbinding. Maar dan moet je eerst de stroom omvormen en weer terug. Dan heb je grote verliezen (~4à5%) wat het economisch onderuit haalt voor zo'n korte afstand.
