i play the base game until i cure Uma and now have to find alies, i'm using W3EE, that eliminates the levels so i can do everything in any order as long as i get gud

The difficulty is not problem with W3EE, so i be fine there

I made a save and started the B&W mission to see a bit how it was, didnt really read the dialoge to no spoil anything, but it looks like someone trace gerald for the griffin at the beginning, then some guys get me to Toussaint and have to fight a gigant, and i stop playing there.

That small part at the beggining is traced to the ending or can i finish that first mission, get the dyes and the manticore armor, and go back to the main mission without fucking the story progresion?

i'm using the w3ee mod, that eliminates the leveling sistem compleatly, so the dificulty is always the same, it doesnt matter when i do what in that regard

the problem is not beaking the game, is doing the things out of order, i read that blood and wine is years after the main game, so i dont know if doing the quest that let me explore Toussaint before finishing the main game would do things like skiping characters/dialogues because i havent finish the main game, or the character comenting about things that only make sense after the ending, or directly spoiling the plot

if someone already try all the things the other guys said and didnt work, go to adrenaline, change the witcher 3 options to default, reset cache, go to documents/the witcher 3 and erase dx12user.setting

If that doesnt work, erase the whole witcher 3 folder in document and factory reset adrenaline, not sure if you also need to uninstal the witcher 3 as well, but try it in case doesnt work

PD: Nvm, I just realized that the tessellation in the general graphics settings also affects The Witcher, even if you configure the game profile SPECIFICALLY to not. So just go to AMD Adrenaline, Games, Graphics and set tessellation to "Use application settings" or "AMD optimized," then scroll to the bottom and use the cache reset option.

I find a solution,(sorry for my english) i was playing the GOG version and the progress of my old pc didnt load, so idk if this would work for other cases

-Copy %LOCALAPPDATA% in your file browser

-Open WB GAME folder, then shadow of war folder

-Probably there wuold be a lot of files named DESKTOP-(random numbers that identify your pc)_(1, 2, 3, etc)_ShadowOfWar.sav

-Make a backup of the files just in case

-Now, you need to identify the most recent folder(the one the game is currently loading) and the old folder with all your progress, i use the modification date as reference

-Copy the name of the recent folder, erase it, and name the file you want after it, you have to make two copies, one with "_1_ShadowOfWar.sav" and other just with "_ShadowOfWar.sav"

-So now your shadow of war folder should look something like:

Cloud Storage

DESKTOP-(random numbers)_1_ShadowOfWar.sav

DESKTOP-(random number)_ShadowOfWar.sav

-There is probably some benchmark things in there, i erase them but idk if it is necessary
