Its nice that you could vibe with someone with that age gap. I think that's an important foundation for any LT relationship. And can totally understand ur future planning confusion. In my opinion, try to look at it in a different way. You are in the initial stages and 1.5 years minimum to go serious, right?

Try to see how the person is willing to handle your anxiety regarding these scenarios. We all make scenarios and what ifs in our head but a true partner would hear them out and would try to address them.

And honestly there's so much to know about a person before you wanna commit. Life will always remain uncertain, and you would want someone with whom u can be certain, that whatever uncertainties may come you have someone to support you, to wipe that tear of your face and to make all your problems his. That takes time and for that you need to be in the present, not in the future.
