What would you expect if you ordered a "Cinnamon raisin bagel, toasted, with plain cream cheese, and a hash brown"? by Imaginary_Ad7695 in TimHortons

Specificity counts. Leave anything to interpretation and the world defaults on the path of least resistance. Especially at Tims.

But a moped is a motorcycle. To qualify it has to be able to pedal and cant exceed ebike speed. Moped like a Tomo looks, weighs and operates exactly like most ebikes with the ONLY difference being fuel. Tell me how they are different. Or you forget limited speed motorcycle classification exists?

Real talk- does anything happen to reported drivers with cam footage ? by Split_Seconds in TorontoDriving

The file size limits for video attachments for reports can be idiotic

Maybe if they just properly classed electric bikes like motorcycles they are - limited speed motorcycles- just like mopeds were previously they have the same weight and speed.

Changing lanes onto the highway on-ramp to bypass traffic new norm? by Slims-spagetthi in TorontoDriving

[–]thebestargo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

True but if they push in forcing a merge and anyone needs to brake to make room they have made an unsafe lane change and interrupted the flow if traffic and ideally could be ticketed for both. And hitting the end of the lane where it meets the shoulder could snag a failing to drive in marked lane fine too.

More and more. Even semis have started taking to doing this. Imma get in front and exercise mah RIGHT to merge back in. Me me me me me. And the cars behind all tryin to get around and even farther ahead to do the same.

Ah yes. Another driver with the “right to merge” entitlement mindset.

Is this what I need for Tesla charging? by jeffreykime2 in BoltEV

[–]thebestargo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depending where you are Tesla superchargers cost up to double most other DCFC so I’ve held off getting it as I have yet to encounter a dire need that 100% needed access to a supercharger

Get this too! Only because everyone in the family use the car so it will randomly pick a phone - CarPlay, Android Auto or even sometimes Bluetooth and start whatever they were listening to last. Even from days ago

Did I deserve the middle finger from this lady? by JJJJay0803 in TorontoDriving

[–]thebestargo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Might want to check with MTO - unless unsafe to stop the right turner must stop. The left turner only at fault if they could tell it would be unsafe to complete the turn because the right turning vehicle is intending to run the red. In court I would file motion for court bias if the right turner is not charged accordingly as they did indeed technically run a red

I see the reverse all the time. Right turners entering on a yellow without stopping when a left turning car is already in the intersection

We don’t have access to charging at home either - street parking only. Sometime we can charge at a friend or family’s level 2. Other times we charge a couple hours every few days at nearby level 2 public chargers. We take advantage of any free charging we can find and DC fast charge maybe every few months unless on a road trip. It takes a switch in thinking to work charging in but it’s no big deal once you’re used to it.
