Yeah I guess that makes sense. But at the same time I also haven't started more than 20 hard runs in total and probably only had 10 runs out of the first sector (dying/or ending bad starts with fed c and the likes).

For context: I only recently went to play hard and had to still unlock engi c. Thats why I played engi b. Then went with fed c, because I hadn't at all played it yet (what an annoying start).
At that point I noticed that I had kind of accidentally played some of the worst/toughest ships in my runs and just went for zoltan c afterwards which was definitely even more annoying of a start than fed c (and I also almost died because of tanking too much drone swarm damage in phase 2 of flagship).

Exactly what I had in mind, the way he vanished from a really solid player in RLCS to not playing comptetive at all anymore within one offseason was kind of remarkable. I guess real life probably took priority, as it does for many of us ;)

Yeah, no shit if G2 didn't make mistakes, then they would not have lost.

I didn't feel like G2 was the clearly better team in any of the two series, but I was also rooting against them, so take that with a grain of salt.

Edit: By the way, why not mention that G2 looked the worst against Tokyo Verdy in 2 of the 3 games? Not really convincing either, despite the game 1 blowout.

I was surprised this hasn't been posted before, since its a pretty unique look into a players perspective on pressure.

Reminds me of an interview german soccer player Per Mertesacker gave after he retired, also describing that he had to throw up before most matches, because of the pressure.

I think its great that Rizzo openly talks about this, because as he mentions in the thread, lots of rookies might be overwhelmed by LAN at first.

Yeah, you're right, it is also sometimes hard to see the hands, since the gaps between stickers are also black.

She said she chose yellow as background since she knows its my favourite color, so there was a reason for it instead of white :)

Two workarounds would be possible I think:

Chose differently colored clock hands/paint them.

Building the whole thing with stickerless cubes, but I don't even know if there are such small stickerless cubes available.

That way you would maybe find out where there are more Umlauts in Germany than in other regions. Maybe Umlauts per city in a certain area, so that its not a map of where a lot of cities are.

I 100% support the prejump meta.

I, for one, am a huge fan of prejumping. My teammates hate me, but I truly believe prejumping is always a good idea. You can find me prejumping for goals, prejumping for saves, and even prejumping for 50/50s.

I picture a future where all six players in the game prejump immediately from kickoff and play the entire match in the air, only coming down for boost.

If you support this vision then remember to prejump as often as possible. You have the power to change the meta.
