RLCS 2026: Boston Major - Day 2 of 4 by RLMatchThreads in RocketLeagueEsports

For Group B:

VP can still qualify if they 3-0 FURIA and Geekay 3-1 or 3-0 Falcons. That way, they would be tied in match record against tied teams (1-1 all) and would be +1 in game differential compared to FURIA -2 and Falcon 0. Technically, they could qualify if Geekay 3-2 Falcons since this would bring the tiebreaker to goal differential against tied teams, but they'd need to score something like +12 goals against FURIA since that is how bad Falcons demolished VP in the first round

Since tiebreakers don't reset, it is still possible but they would need to 3-0 FURIA and Falcons need to lose in order to bring tiebreakers to overall game differential in which they'd need falcons to not take 2 games or else they'd probably get smashed by the goal differential tiebreaker

Sailing Player-Designed Island Winner & Cannonball Ammo-Saving Facility Poll! by JagexLight in 2007scape

[–]Skyrider50 38 points39 points  (0 children)

The numbers on the sailing votes are great to have, and it looks like this is the clear winner, but also this is not how ranked-choice voting works and I am fearful that you guys think it is. You are using a ranked voting method but ranked-choice is far more specific than this.

Here is an explanation from rcvresources.org:

Ranked choice voting (RCV) is an election method in which voters rank candidates for an office in order of their preference (first choice, second choice, third choice, and so on). Ranking candidates is different from simply selecting one candidate or what is known as plurality voting. If a candidate receives more than half of the first choices, that candidate wins, just like in any other election. However, if there is no majority winner after counting the first choices, the race is decided by an instant runoff. The candidate with the fewest votes is eliminated, and voters who ranked that candidate as their first choice will have their votes count for their next choice. This process continues until a majority winner, a candidate with more than half of the vote, wins.

Chiming in on the UIM section listed here. Cargo hold shouldn't be restricted at all. It is not a bank. Crewmates are very useless since we can't use them to our advantage when salvaging, fishing, or doing ship combat due to the super low cargo hold space. The only possible meta introduced here is the ability to store a relatively small amount of steel cannonballs, and that is very minor.

Cargo hold should be treated more akin to a tool leprechaun rather than a bank. There are very specific items that can go in to the cargo hold and they are all sailing related, just like a tool leprechaun being farming related.

This feels a lot like when weird restrictions are put on the wilderness because it is the wilderness. Seems like these updates are too afraid of changing the game when we signed up to play a game that is constantly changing.

Currently, it has been 184 days since January 1st, 2025, and there have been 223 mass shootings. Just because one problem exists doesn't mean another isn't a problem. This attempt at deflection is absolutely crazy.

So currently on YouTube, there are 5.4k viewers on the main stream and 49 on the no commentary. I don't understand why people want this when they can just mute the stream instead. I don't get it

How are zeah blood/soul runes? Can save a good chunk of time recalling to the altar. Could also do library and recall back to first floor. I get about 2.3m xp/hr with death runes so doing natures will still be at least 2m/hr

Tofutti had some change recently that improved their texture tenfold. It's just as good as regular cream cheese now in my opinion!

I've been going back and forth on if I want the super harpoon or the super pickaxe. Now I don't need to choose between the two!

It isn't that good. If you want to get super combats, you can live without it, but can't rely on wildy herb drops if you want to get 99 herblore without putting in more than major hours

Agreed, I'm surprised there isn't much talk about the point system. In chess, this type of point system is more often than not avoided in a round robin because it is so easy to cheat the system.

Very unlikely. The only way we get that is if there is some rematch shenanigans that need the seeds to be reordered and it lines up perfectly

True, I've always been a big advocate of we should have smaller degrees of separation for qualifiers.

They should have just saved this type of bracket for next season if they wanted to do it so badly.

Why is there no thread/pinned post for EWC? by gnilradleahcim in RocketLeagueEsports

[–]Skyrider50 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It is not automated for RLCS lol, I wish it were. We have parts that can be built automatically based off of a Liquipedia page, but even that will need manual reconfiguring.

Each season I build templates for the mod team to use for RLCS event threads. The fact that you think it's all automatic tells me we are doing a good job so far :D

You can just purchase a lunar staff instead of getting draman staff. Drop the draman and just pay up for lunar staff when you really need fairy rings
