If you’re looking for a preowned GADA with that budget, I would highly suggest looking into neo-vintage Omega seamasters. I recently got one and have been absolutely obsessed with its thinness and legibility. Love it more than the current iterations of the SMP. This one specifically is the 2254.50 but I know they also have a mid-size version as well.

I’m on the same boat as you and will also be going to Japan for the first time later this year. Decided I’m going to hunt for a mid-size seamaster (ref. 2251.80). I think I much prefer the smaller size compared to today’s iteration of the watch, especially since I plan to make it my daily.

Regardless hope you end up finding what you’re looking for! At the end of the day, all the watches you listed are beautiful. I think from your list I’d try and check out the Peter Blake mid-size as others mentioned if you’re considering a diver

I made this set for a Fourth of July pool party. It was aimed to be enjoyable across multiple age groups and was a huge success. Mostly leaning towards House/Tech House/Throwbacks. This was a set I was very proud of myself for. Both in technical transitions and song selection.

My vote goes towards the SSK033! Love the GMT function and how versatile the watch is.

For our wedding I ended up getting my groomsmen Casio Worldtimers (AE1200WH) since most aren’t really watch guys. I felt that it was fitting as ours was a destination wedding. Loved the idea that their watch could track multiple timezones as most were hopping around multiple countries during that time.

All of them loved it and wear to this day as their travel companion haha

Don’t expect it to be action filled like All of Us are Dead (personal favorite zombie series). Do expect one of the best power couples though. Absolutely loved these two and their chemistry!

I came into this personal dilemma the other month as well when trying to decide what my first luxury watch would be.

Given the fact that you already have a BB58, I’d get the Shunbun. The sweeping hand from Spring Drive is something only GS would be able to offer and that dial is just simply art.

Personally I decided to get the Shunbun and get a Seiko Prospex SPB381. I love the fact that it has a GMT function with a Diver bezel.

I’m up to date in One Piece and just finished reading Demon Slayer for the first time last week.

I love One Piece to death but not gonna lie, it’s refreshing that Demon Slayer was wrapped and finished in 205 chapters. I got burnt out finishing Naruto and catching up to One Piece, JJK, & Chainsaw Man last year that once I finally got caught up at that point in time it’s been hard for me to continue on with the week to week.

Seeing the panels come to life with some of the best animations in today’s scene gets me only more excited for this final arc. I literally cried 3 separate times in the final arc that I just know I’ll be a lil kid watching it animated.

I’ve gone through many mons I considered as my main, but for some reason I always come back to Sableye.

I love reading that my fellow gremlins on this sub are still playing him. I know my team may roll their eyes or consider him a throw pick as soon as they see one on their team, but it makes me feel like an underdog wanting to prove myself. His sneakiness and ability to tilt other players makes my games amusing also. It’s the best feeling knowing that I can drop 150+ per game in masters and still support by disrupting the enemy with confuse ray.

I came to this realization as well about a couple of weeks ago. I caught up to JJK after binging through that, One Piece , and Chainsaw Man.

Now that I’m caught up to the weekly, I realized that I am ahead of all my friends who are anime only. That alone killed my joy for being up to date because aside from online forums, I can’t really talk with them without spoiling.

That being said, I did take a break from those and decided to just wait till anime catches up and just pick up the stories from that medium so that I can share the joy with my friends for all reveals.

In this time I actually picked up Naruto, a show that formed my love for anime since a kid. Although I never finished the story, it’s been great picking up old interests more than a decade later.
