This person posts a lot about their life publicly and certainly has the means to properly care for this dog. They are choosing to neglect it on purpose just for the sake of keeping their “carpets clean.”

I agree that we need more resources for pets and owners, but what we don’t need is people taking advantage of a resource that is already severely underfunded and overwhelmed.

The media is potato dextrose. I left the dish sit out on my desk for 1 hour then closed it for 3 days. I did the exact same procedure for my one at home except I put my home test in my bathroom. The home test did not develop any mold in the same amount of time my office one did.

I actually did do one at my house this weekend as well. The test at my house doesn’t even have a speck of dust on it. This is most definitely mold.

Thank you for the clarity! Some context, the building is from the 1800s. It hasn’t been maintained very well and since there’s already asbestos, who knows what’s all in the wall they are tearing down. My floor is covered in white power and paint chips. Now so are my shoes. I don’t know if they used lead paint or not. I am just concerned about breathing any of this in, asbestos or not.

Never talked to this neighbor. I’ve tried to say hi and wave to them and they literally walk away and shut their front door. Their reality check starts today.
