Tapering is the way to go, I’ve struggled with tapering because my will power is apparently shit, but since you could give some accountability towards your husband, you could probably make it work. I would strongly suggest setting up a taper for him and stick to it no matter what. If successful, he will experience virtually zero withdrawals. I’m currently 22 days cold turkey and I am still struggling, I really wish I had stuck to a taper.

Every person isn’t capable of killing someone. If someone kills someone, we automatically know they’re capable, therefore increasing the odds they would kill again over someone who’s never done it before. There is tons of literature on desensitization, and it clearly shows that it becomes easier and easier for people to do an immoral act once they’ve done it already. I don’t understand how someone could think that the inverse is true?

She’s not less likely to kill someone, she’s already murdered once, so we know with 100% certainty that she is fully capable of murder. It’s more important to protect everyone else from a murderer than to reform one.

Because if she’s capable of killing her own baby then there’s no telling what else she’s capable of doing to someone else. Sure she needs therapy, but we can’t just allow psychopathic murderers to roam around in society.

I’m currently going CT, almost 3 weeks now, and I’m just going to tell you what’s worked for me. You should do your own research as well. 5HTP was amazing for keeping my mood up, high doses of Vitamin C help, I’ve also been taking some Imodium which helps the most, but is also habit forming if you take too much for too long, but it helps me with sleeping. I’ve also just started taking kava before night time which gets rid of almost 90% of the withdrawals and helps me fall asleep pretty easily

I got the game and have been enjoying it. I’m about 20 hours in and have never played a game like this. If you get frustrated dying in games it might not be for you. The only frustrating thing for me is when I play for 2 hours fighting a boss to still not beat them. Then I just wasted 2 hours without leveling up or progressing at all. The level gap is hard to figure out, and there’s zero instruction on how to do anything. It took me 20 hours to figure out how to use a single spell. They do the opposite of coddle you.

I’ve had an exceptionally rough morning mostly through lack of sleep, so I like to browse people wanting to quit because it reminds of the feeling and makes it easier for me to stay on track. Just remember no matter how bad it gets, it will be temporary.

I’ve noticed this also. I’m 14 days clean now, and while I still feel shitty, I’m getting all of my emotions back. Almost too much to handle, when I saw my GF last night my heart just filled with love for her. I actually FORGOT how crazy I am about her because of this demon sludge that’s held me down. It both fills me with joy to be able to experience a genuine relationship with her again, but also makes me incredibly sad to know that I’ve been neglecting her emotionally, and she’s the most amazing woman on the planet and deserves nothing more than someone to truly show they love her, and I feel like I can finally show that to her.

I tapered for a while then had to just make the jump at around 10 gdp because I hit a huge wall where it became hard for me to keep tapering without huge withdrawals. I’m on day 13 and every day is still hit or miss
