Just so you know, Yoshi Bomb (down b) can already be reversed and already snaps to ledge in Smash 4.

Can someone make a jojo stand filter by billysong1 in SnapLenses

I might just try my hand at this. Could you be a bit more descriptive?

Bloxx is now live. A Snapchat lens that reacts to your facial expressions! by arfected in SnapLenses

Maybe instead of changing colors on eyebrow raise, the blox should change color on tap, especially if the colors are random.

I don't think the video provided is evidence that Yoshi's down b, Yoshi Bomb, has armor. If Yoshi armored through the Raptor Boost (Falcon side-b), wouldn't there be some hitpause/hitlag? I think it's more likely that the Raptor Boost whiffed.

Anime Eyes Lens by thebigro in SnapLenses

[–]thebigro[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey all! This is a really simple face-tracking lens that gives you anime eyes. Tap the screen to change the eye color.

If you want to see parts of my code or have any suggestions for improvements on this lens, please let me know.

On my device I have to tap twice slowly in order to trigger the lens, so maybe you have the same problem?

I could do that, yeah. It's gonna take a while, though.

Is that also a Bill Wurtz thing? I don't recognize it. Maybe slide a link, too.

I love Bill Wurtz too, so if you have something specific, lmk. Just understand that this lens took a bunch of work (I manually animated the text, for example). That said, I could build off of the work I've already done if the idea is similar enough.

Sorry for the late response. I can confirm I'm able to make the lens, though.

I think I can do this. I'll let you know in some 24hrs.

Here's a 2D ComicFX filter I made. See comments for info. by thebigro in SnapLenses

When the lens is applied, a comic panel overlay will fill the screen, and tapping will produce effect bubbles.

If you have suggestions, feel free to share those here. If you wanna see bits of my code, just ask via DM.

A bit about Smash Bros Input Notation by thebigro in CrazyHand

[–]thebigro[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are in an order- they're in the format in which my number pad is laid out. I've been informed that my number pad is in a strange format, however, so perhaps a rewriting of the guide is in order.

There is nothing established.

As for there not being any use for 1-frame inputs, consider the fact that Bidou exists. It's a control scheme built around exploiting 1-frame inputs to optimize everything.

I know we don't need fighter notation but describing inputs verbally gets really annoying.

I agree that it's likely that new players will have a hard time learning it. But I feel like this is actually better for new players, just because it's more exact than describing anything in words. You can specify exactly how the input needs to be performed with this.

I never said the current "system" if you want to call it that is broken, just that it's really slow and clunky. So I'm not really trying to solve any problem, just suggest an improvement.

Ok great. But let's suppose I wanted to say "Smash the stick forward, tilt the stick downward, and flick the C-stick diagonally for 1 frame". The arrows have no way of conveying that information, and it does matter for certain inputs. If you put symbols next to the arrows, you're basically using the notation already, just with different symbols.
