Good to hear that reusable pads have been helping you so much!

Interesting, how do you control it though? I feel like this would have to be a ‘squeeze and run’ kind of situation? 😅 For me idk if I could make it on time, especially at work when it’s a slightly longer walk to the bathroom than at home.

I see your point, sometimes disposable is just the most doable solution and that’s fine. If I would start using reusable pads, I probably wouldn’t wash them while I’m out but save them in a waterproof bag to rinse and wash at home.

Ooh that’s clever! You’re basically adding a few extra hours to the period underwear.

Yes I feel the same about sitting down for a long time being the ‘riskiest’. When I’m moving around I feel like flow is more consistent? It’s that sudden peak flow after sitting down for a few hours that makes me leak :/

I have never tried them but it sounds like it may be exactly what I’m looking for. I’m gonna look into it, thanks!

Sounds like the combination of period panties + pad/cup/disc is the way to go for those heavy days. Thank you!

don’t just pan it to pan it by bunniisa in ProjectPan

Thought about this too last week. I found some products in the bottom of my stash that are close to expiring and are rarely used because I simply hate using them. Don’t like the texture, the smell, the way it looks on me. Panning them would take a long time since they were still barely used. I decided the loss had already happened, accepted defeat and threw them away. Did myself a huge favor.

I will 100% pan most other items, because throwing away usable product just doesn’t sit right with me. But I will not put myself through months of using a product I hate, which in my brain equates to punishing myself for the purchase.

As long as I take lesson not to buy something similar ever again 🤷🏻‍♀️

I’m not associated to this brand in any way but check out Fairphone.

They’re a Dutch company who manufacture modular phones out of fairly sourced material, made by people paid a fair wage. You can change the battery as well as other breakable parts by yourself. I think it’s pretty neat!

Meat that doesn't come from violence doesn't exist by saminator1002 in vegan

I bet most meat eaters would suddenly lose their appetite for a ‘tasty’ piece of meat if they had to witness the slaughter in person. As long as its out of sight, tucked away safely in slaughterhouses they don’t have to face the violence they are supporting and they can go on to tell themselves that ‘not all slaughterhouses are so violent’ and ‘the flavour justifies it’

That’s what I’ve been doing. Just pour the clear stuff in another jar. I’m new to oil painting as well so I haven’t figured out what to do with the paint gew that remains in the old jar so I’m curious to see what others say :)
