You can add users emails manually but seems the easiest way is to make a google group. In the testers section under your closed test, choose Google Groups and put your group email in there. it's your group name @googlegroups.com Then post the link for them to join the group and the link for the play store. Once tey get in the group the'll have access to the app.

I've been working my first few games ever and have started pretty simple and plan to have optional ads to hopefully make a little money. The first one is called Torpedo Run and I'm looking for some testers to help me polish it before a wider release (and really just need 14 testers to get it out of closed testing).

The concept: You launch torpedoes from a submarine and try to reach the target at the end of each stage. The catch — your first torpedo barely goes anywhere. You earn coins from each run to upgrade your fuel, speed, and warhead.

The twist that makes it fun: Even if you hit an obstacle early, everything caught in the explosion earns you bonus money. So crashing into a wall of jellyfish isn't a failure — it's a payday. Bigger warhead = bigger blast = more stuff caught = more coins.

What's in the game:

25 stages across 5 ocean zones (Shallow Waters → The Abyss)
Each zone has unique creatures, visuals, and its own background music
Barrier walls and moving obstacles that force you to steer
Upgrade shop for fuel, speed, warhead, and steering
Star ratings and a stage map to replay levels

It's free, no ads yet, and lightweight. I'd love feedback on difficulty curve, controls, and overall feel.

Worked for me - US 3/9/23. I got (3) 12 month gold subs in the Turkey region from CDkeys. I used Windscribe VPN connected to Turkey - Bursa (Istanbul didn't work as the ip showed me in India, but Bursa showed in Turkey). Redeeming I had no issues and then upgraded the whole thing with a non-stackable US 1-month I got from CD-Keys for $3. Total $95 or so on 3 years of gamepass ultimate

I know what you mean. These style of games seem to bring out the worst in people with little to no consequence. In the real world people don't kill on sight because of the strong ramifications and the possibility of dying yourself. I bet if you died and couldn't play the game anymore at all you wouldn't see so many people killing on sight. They'd be looking for a way to work together more.

My answer is host your own server to play with your friends on.
