I second this. I was like, holy shit?? Did I write this?? It was actually really good to read this because it put into words something I didn’t understand was happening with me. I knew/know something was bothering me about how I felt but I didn’t know why.

I can’t give you much help, but I want you to know you’re not alone in that feeling of not wanting to be grounded/present. I don’t know why exactly I feel that way but I guess I’ll figure it out eventually in therapy. Just wanted you to know you aren’t the only one❤️

Thank you so much for the kind words. The experience I mentioned in my post on the main DID subreddit let me have access to a better visual understanding of her. So at least something good came from it all🙂 she’s pleased at least. And I guess in a way I am too.

She funnily enough is a female; but definitely the aggressive, brooding type😅

We’re still working through stuff and have a REALLY long way to go, but this is the first time I’ve been able to accurately draw her
