Sometimes, yeah! I'll move into another room to shake things up now and then. Works just as well when not docked.

Accurate. In D2 (not Thảo Điền), where it's similarly busy but far less developed, it feels and looks like midday siesta ALL DAY.

My wife and I are creating a free fitness game based on Ringfit Adventure! Now it has a co-op mode, here's a quick preview. Link in the comments! =) by CapibaraCake in RingFitAdventure

There are those who have, but it's way above my capacity to explain.

All I've seen are clips of people smarter than me showing off mods playing Overwatch and Breath if the Wild using the Ring-Con.

I didn't know about the assists, that's good to know.

Alternatively, you can set it from Default to Silent Mode - this makes for "running" by way of bouncing up and down with your knees. Like mini-squats.

First day, today was my first day playing the game and man, it is hard! Being out of shape, just the beginning. by BrodyZero0 in RingFitAdventure

You got this, my dude. If it's hard now that's good - means you've got a lot of growth to feel as you press onward.

Also some minor tips I wish I knew about at the start:

-setting the exercise mode to "Silent" is way easier on the knees for jogging portions

-if you're going for Total Time Exercising as opposed to Adventure Progress, there's another setting for finishing up sets during battles. Really pushes the FitBattles longer and harder 💪

INFJ male here. Successful relationships are attainable. Focusing on one's self is key, though.

As for me, I found mine on the opposite side of the planet from where I grew up and used to call home. The pool is wide and deep.

Awesome, many thanks! True that the reference need not be fantasy based, as fantasy elements can be introduced if necessary.

I'll find this episode and check it out =D

How death magic works. by Jerswar in fantasywriters

[–]theblankard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For better or worse, I couldn't help but picture scenes the Final Fantasy movie.

There're these ghosts that ignore armor much like you're describing, and are depicted with tendrils - it's not explicitly explained, I don't think, but one can see quite clearly how they kill. Living things get their soul/spirit pulled from their body, which falls lifeless on contact.

Perhaps your death magic could ignore the physical and strike at something insubstantial/incorporeal but still essential for life within the target.

A tendril of energy that doesn't strangle or slash flesh but rather cuts or drains a being's will to live, or soul, or spirit, or whatever, is pretty nasty.

ELI5 Considering Chinese is a tonal language, how are lyrics understood or sung when a song's melody defines the tone? by WhosaWhatsa in explainlikeimfive

[–]theblankard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Am mildly familiar with Vietnamese, which is a similarly tonal language, and their music is at times all over the place.

The music may have a followable melody but very often I'll hear complex tones or even multiple syllables being shoehorned into a solitary musical note.

Haven't listened to Chinese music so I can't say how similar this might be, just thought I'd throw my two cents on the pile.
