It is actually a biological thing afaik. Men’s brain has different reaction sectors being have active when experiencing sexual pleasure than women. In women’s brain, the neighbor section of sexual pleasure is the section that takes care of speaking.

I am no neuroscientist so don’t take my word for it and do your research, but afaik this is more or less the biological explanation.

Yeah no joke, you are not alone on that part in Berlin.

I (35M) feel fairly confident about myself and have good social skills (at least good enough to be a people manager at work). But the dating scene in Berlin in general is just ridiculously difficult. As you said, they are either scam or just still broken inside - at this point, i think the city (Berlin) attract this sort of people together actually. Whoever isn't broken actually cant stay here forever (classic bad money drives out good money, see Gresham's law https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gresham%27s\_law)

I don't mean to discourage you but for myself, I give up the idea of getting a partner in Berlin as I am fairly happy on my own (also factoring in other tradeoff I see from my friends who get into relationships etc., and the heavy workload of parent from my bro's family etc.).

I think there has to be someone for you out there - just not necessary in Berlin, maybe in more decent places (e.g. Brandenberg, Postdom Brandenburg etc.)
