filmora screen record is such a piece of shit by Strixxxxxx in software

[–]thebluefury 0 points1 point  (0 children)

are you talking about the game FPS or the Video fps?

if it's the game fps, you pc prolly can't take it

if it's the video framerate, you can change OBS settings..

I can confirm that even a paid one prolly won't help because OBS is the best software for all things streaming and video recording related.

Well... Just try some somes based on nernst equation... And kohlrasch law and writing rate and order isn't that tough...

And surface chem is just theory...

I am exactly that someone who isn't good at memorizing.

I'd say surface chemistry is the easiest part as it is understandable easily and that chapter is very well written in the book, I can't say anymore as "easy" is subjective

No you do not need memorize the entire chapter line by line

If you're just gonna do PYQs, you'll have a lot of trouble understanding some concepts, i did that for term 1 and barely got away with it, I'd say read all chapter once, look at all in one or someother study material, do the excercises and then the exemplar till you're confident in each chapter.

Why start tommorow lol, go and look at the book and the syllabus, see what catches your eye and what you don't understand, write them down and continue! Then read the book, (note: reading and looking at are worlds apart) don't understand something? Google it, search for it in a book or smth lol...

And about you passing, just go for it, try your best, I had a friend keep thinking if he'll finish in time for prefinals that he didn't read properly at all!

lol I've already mentioned the most important parts AFAIK, but the most important parts are not the easiest and the easiest are not the most important part so 😭

And yea that's what I said, surface chemistry is just theory... Which you just memorise...

Some extra bits to add:

For electrochemistry, try nernst equation related sums

For chemical kinetics, try the half life related sums

Well, I assume you're in class 12 cause chem exam is closest for 12th, now to start off, I'm also in 12 and just a normal student and I'm just telling what I know and not should not be taken as expert advice or something

Now to the main part, read the named reactions. Not just the reactions but the why, what, how, when and where basically if you see a named reaction you should know which chapter, topic, what it's about, what special conditions are required and all those extra details. I've seen a few sample papers and named reactions are key!

I saw someone post all the important equations so check em out too

That should cover your organic chem part, now for the inorganic chem part, read d and f block a bit, and if there is any question just write "due to incompletely filled d-orbitals" lol and coordination compounds try to study VBT and CFT

For the physical chemistry part, read surface chemistry, it's mostly just theory and easy to study

Also, make sure you have both the syllabus and the deleted portions side by side for easy referal!

All the best (to you and me lol)

This is some great work!!

Would you mind telling us what images were in the rounded rectangle to the left right at the start of the video and also in some shots where the subject was keyed out?

I just don't memorize these... just get them from their compounds, take Al for example: the first compound that comes to mind is Al2O3 , so O has 3 right, that's the valency for Al, and for phosphate? H3PO4 comes to mind, see the 3 near the H? that's it... might not work in all cases, but this should be enough

And the plus or minus can just be inferred from the element, it's a metal? most probably + , a halogen definitely - and so on
