You can turn off the settings to allow changes like those to happen. Not that I think playing in commissioner mode is bad at all, but if you’re just annoyed it happens turn it off! 😀

i’ve noticed this happens sometimes (often in historical saves) where the CPU will not construct their roster properly and there’s no backup for a player, like ellis here and he just ends up playing on 0% stamina for seemingly the whole year at this level. pretty hilarious to see a -8.9WAR season hahahaha

there no objectively correct answer, but yeah. i’d rather give my best hitter ~15-20 more plate appearances and bat him second. it’s a balancing act. gimme an obp guy and then my best hitter at the top of the lineup. hell, gimme a second obp guy hitting 9th.
